there really is a subtle difference - the youtube website or search
engine is not running on your computer and parabola did not provide it

youtube-dl is the best example of this issue - the argument could be
made more poignantly by talking about its big brother mini-tube and
others of that sort - those not only search the index but automatically
download screen-shots of each result - screen-shots are not free
culture each video result presents a free license - AFAIK none of these
programs actually present the license to the user; which would make it
all the more difficult to patch in a filter

frankly, i tire of this conversation because it is almost always most
passionately argued as it relates to video games or internet videos -
prbably the two most trite uses for a computer there is - the true
implications of this argument go well beyond those trivial
entertainment uses
