i should have added that moving the discussion to another list means
that subscribers of the gnu-linux-libre list are not going to see any
updates on the topic

if there is any news to report, then someone should bump the existing
thread anyways, for the benefit of those who are interested, to note
that an official GNU ticket was opened and that the conversation has
moved to another list - but again, i dont know of anything new to report
