Issue #363 has been updated by israfel.


Actually, I double-checked, and while the most recent version of nppangband is free software, the only version of nppangband available from the AUR is an older, proprietary version, and even in the most recent version, the sounds are still "freeware". It shouldn't be too hard to make an "nppangband-libre" package that takes the source off Github and removes the sounds, though. If I get the time, I'll see if I can make a PKGBUILD.

nppangband is blacklisted because it "forbids commercial redistribution". While this may have been the case at one time, it's now dual-licensed under the GPLv2 and the noncommercial Angband license.
