I don't understand why a symlink would be needed.  It's the only thing making
these packages conflict, there might be cases where it's useful to have both
loggers installed in one system.

We could instead change rc.conf in initscripts (already in libre) to list
metalog and write news on the website that metalog is the new default logger.
