off-hand i will say that it is a very common practice for parabola to
block certain such 3rd-party repos if those repos contain non-free
software - i do not have any experience with that particular program but
this bug report seems to be of that general form that is often received
sounds like common

the 404 error is a bit curious however - it it dubious that the patch
would have set the fetch to a bogus URL rather than disabling to fetch
so that could indicate an actual bug

could you post the exact complete error message?
