Hello, Jesse!

Usually, when any part of hardware on your machine won't works is
because proprietary drivers. Your Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230 (rev
34), Subsystem Intel Centrino Advanced-N AGN maybe requieres proprietary
software in order to work, maybe not. I can't find it on h-node.com so
I'm not sure.

about iwlwifi, we have that package on blacklist (iwlwifi-1000-ucode,
iwlwifi-3945-ucode, iwlwifi-4965-ucode, iwlwifi-5000-ucode,
iwlwifi-5150-ucode, iwlwifi-6000-ucode) because it requieres and/or
provides proprietary software.

You can watch a list of wifi cards whom doesn't requieres proprietary
software here[1] if yours requieres proprietary software.
